So this is what happened. Aside from being hopelessly obsessed with Wolfram, fanfiction, fanart and surfing the KKM LJ comms, I am also a Gaia addict. (blushes) Yes. So me and my friend there, Ghost of Ireland, also known as The Mad Charlotte Scarlet, have made friends with some Wolfram and Yuuri avatar cosplayers. They keep their characters' personalities very much in perfection! So, apart from GLOMPing and SQUEEing over the two, Ghost-san and I like to play our fangirl-ish tendacies to the utmost, like one time we kidnapped Yuuri Heika in hopes of strengthening the bond between him and Wol-chan, because we know how both get so miserable when they are apart, even though they refuse to acknowledge it. What happened was we got our butts flambeed by Wolf^^;;;

Ahem, so our current escapade with them has been to torment Yuuri Heika with visions of Wol-chan in a toga (aka Togaram). Ghost-san has drawn three very good toga-ish pics: one of Yuuri, one of Wolf, and one with both us like Greek female adonises sitting on Yuuri Heika. She doesn't have an LJ account yet, and I would post them here myself, but I would rather ask her first, so you all will have to be satisfied with mine for now. Somehow we managed to convince the Yuuri and Wolfram avi cosplayers to don on the Egyptian linens and sandals Gaia has available, so now we are all strutting about across each others profiles like this, so I decided it was my turn to draw a Togaram picture, so BEHOLD!

I added a little something that will no doubt drive Yuuri Heika into hysterics and much protesting that such a thing is not possible!
(shift eyes around) He claims he doesn't surf the KKM LJ comms, but Wolf never said that. Hmmmm....

So, I just got back from the midnight Harry Potter at Books-A-Million and am SUPER PYSCHED!!! I had a blast! I went with my mom and we arrived at the store around 7:00 to get a head start. I read manga until 9:00 when the party officially began. OMG! I've forgotten the title of the manga now, but I was flipping through it, and glimpsed a phrase I thought I must be dreaming up. So I looked again and there it was: "Avada Credava". XD
In a MANGA book! LOL! (One character was muttering this in his sleep, while his roommate looked on sweatdropping, thinking, "Is he trying to curse me in his sleep?") XD XD XD!

Anyway, back on track, I met a couple of friends from uni, as well as some old ones from high school. We walked around making fools of ourselves at the local HP stations: Tea leave readings, wand-making, etc. I made a wand, one of the last people who got a chance since they ran out of tape. Stopped by the potions sections, where drinks were served in these little black cauldron cups. Turns out there were different types of teas in them. Mine was green tea, which I identified immediately by the smell, having been very well associated with ocha, ever since taking Japanese. It was much stronger than my usual green tea, so I decided to help myself to the jug of red liquid on the table to sweeten the brew. Unfortunately for me, it turned out the drink was not kool-aid like I thought and was red vinegar! The reason for having that on the table was never explained-_-;;.

After that, a voice announced that face-painting would begin at the kids section by the train. Wouldn't you know it? That was where my unfortunate kool-aid mishap was. I was second in line! Which was a good thing, since a horde of kids came stampeding from all four corners of he store at once. I got a red lightning bolt on my forehead and a green snake on my right cheek.

Then the costume party began, and the manager came and asked my mom if she wanted to be in on the judging! o.o! :O! @_@! So, I got to watch the parade of characters up close, but could not vote sadly. The winners: Remus Lupin (omg, he looked just like HIM!), Professer Trelawney and Nymphadora Tonks (who were mother and daughter-both outfits VERY cool), and one small Draco Malfoy from the first two movies with his hair slicked back XD!

The costume parade also had some very weird and funny people too. For instance, one kid came in normal clothing and pronounced he was Marvin the Mad Muggle (from Ron's comic book^^), another kid was Hedwig, all decked out in white feathers from head to toe, another was a box of Chocoalte Frogs, another were a group of three people, each with different masks (Halloween-ish) holding light sabers-yes, LIGHT SABERS from STAR WARS, who claimed they were Hogwarts Rejects. One of the Hogwarts Rejects claimed he was Harry as in 'Hairy" because he was wearing a werewolf mask^^;;. The judges had a hoot with the whole thing.

After the costume contest, the voice announced on the speaker to get in line, half an hour till 12:01. There was a mad scramble (I have never seen people move that fast in my life).I wasn't in the front, but not the back, someplace in the middle. They wheeled out the books around 11:45 all stacked up in their happy little boxes with the lettering "Do not open until July 21st". People were snapping pictures, but me being stupid, had forgot my camera-_-;;. The line moved pretty quickly once time reached 12:01. When I reached the cash register, all the computers froze and stopped scanning the vouchers. The employees (with red shirts reading "Muggle Crew") were freaking out, scared about the potential mob they would have on their hands if people did not receive their long-awaited book. Finally the manager shouted, "JUST TAKE THEIR VOUCHERS! MOVE! MOVE!" Heehee^^!

I grabbed my book and met my old high school friends out side and was in the process of trying to find a pencil so we could exchange emali addresses, when my nightmare came true. Some freak-azoids nearby opened the book (no spoilers, I promise!), flipped to the end and apparently shouted who died, were going to shout who died, or was in the middle of shouting who died. I didn't hear the words, thank god! I did become aware of the dangerous situation when the people around us surged towards the party-poopers, screaming "NO! DON'T!"

At this point, both me and my old high school friends began "LA-LA-LA-LA-ing" very loudly while covering our ears, while we somehow managed to exchange email addresses. Then I hopped into the car and told my mother to step on the gas (all while I was humming as loud as possible to drone out excited buzz outside the shop). I'm not sure what the mob did to those party-poopers, but I hope they received a few good whacks of justice.

I wish I could read the book right now and finish it over the weekend, however my Japanese midterm in on Tuesday, and I really have to study (T^T)!!! Then I have chapter and kanji quizzes throughout next week, so I probably won't get to read it and have it done with until next Monday, waaaah! So, I'm going to stay away from the internet for this week, until I have read the book. I know spoilers will be popping up everywhere.

P.S. Went to a shop and found DOZENS of HP T-shirts and merchandise. Bought Sirius Black shirt, as he is my favorite. Am going back for a Snape one next week.

I'd like to share some more of my strange and often times random artwork^^. Once again, I present you with old style drawings done in crayon and colored pencil. The first picture, I'm sort of embarrassed to show, as it was drawn on a whim. However, I have a tendency to draw Wolfram in less than manly outfits XD. The second drawing is fanart for one my  KKM CRACKfics called Where In the Worlds is MY World? Yes. Stare. Gape. Fall off your chair. I just couldn't resist giving anyone who read my fic a visual!

My caveman drawing techniques with crayons and colored pencils as I do not have an art program on my computer other than paint^^;;

The first is a Fanart for the fic In His Shoes by Zero Assoluto 18 . She and I agree that though we adore Yuuram, Sholfness is HAWT^^.  Everything in the first pic is correct except Conrad's reaction. That is most definitely NOT how he responded, but I drew this before the present chapters she has now.
(Sorry for the quality of the first pic. My scanner was whacking out). I love Zero's fics, though! Sholf-itis is very contagious^-~

The second pic is a drawing I did last summer when I first was starting my KKM obsession. I had seen screencaps of that Wolfram-like woman on Shori's comp, so I took his pose from there. Also, Gunter's expression is from episode 19, I believe, with Yuuri and the dragons. I hadn't known about Murata yet, so i didn't include him in the second pic.
